IBEW 569 Endorsements for March 5, 2024 Election

Dear IBEW 569 Member:

Now is the time to make a Plan to Vote and secure work for IBEW 569 members!

Below you will find information about our IBEW 569 Endorsements for the March 5th Election! We arrived at these endorsements through a rigorous democratic process whereby IBEW 569 joined unions of the San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council and Building Trades Councils to interview candidates for local, state, and federal elected office.

For this primary election cycle, we focused on candidates who will deliver more work for IBEW 569 members.

The upcoming election will set the stage for a tight vote in the general election in November, and there’s no doubt that every single vote will matter.

We have the following priority races in San Diego County:

  • City of San Diego: Mayor – Todd Gloria; City Attorney – Brian Maienschein; City Council District 4 – Henry Foster III; City Council District 9 – Sean Elo-Rivera
  • City of Chula Vista: City Attorney – Marco Verdugo; City Council District 3 – Michael Inzunza; City Council District 4 – Cesar Fernandez
