Politics, Activism, and Livelihood Training (P.A.L.)

May 20 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The IBEW 569 Policy and Politics Department will host a training on Politics, Activism, and Livelihood (P.A.L.)!

The Politics, Activism, & Livelihood (P.A.L.) Training is a space for IBEW 569 members to:

  • Identify the issues that affect every union member’s livelihood.
  • Discuss how strong unions build a middle class.
  • Understand how politics and government affect our livelihood.
  • Discuss the IBEW’s involvement in politics.
  • Discuss the importance of activism and voting to our future.

The P.A.L. Training space provides tools for members who want to share the material impacts of union membership and the local successes that are a direct result of IBEW 569’s political involvement.

P.A.L. Training will take place Wednesday, May 20, 4:30pm in person at the San Diego IBEW 569 Hall, 4545 Viewridge Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123.

Please RSVP to ensure you receive the materials in advance of the meeting. Please feel free to contact Cori Schumacher, IBEW 569’s Policy Director, at 858-583-5880 or cschumacher@ibew569.org if you have questions or concerns.
