DESCRIPTION:IBEW 569 would like to invite you to attend our Warehouse Workers panel event on Monday\, September 12th at 5pm\, at the UFCW Local 135 Union Hall. \nWe have been working with County Supervisors Nathan Fletcher and Nora Vargas\, Center on Policy Initiatives\, Teamsters\, UFCW and other labor partners to ensure we pass a policy that improves pay\, working conditions and safety in warehouses. \nThere are currently close to 60\,000 warehouse and transportation workers in our region\, and half of these jobs are paid $17.32 or less per hour\, about $36\,000 or less per year.
