At 4:45 we will march to the SDCP Board of Directors meeting (approximately a 5-minute walk).\n\nRSVP: https://actionnetwork.org/events/ibew-569-electricians-rally-for-green-union-jobs-and-100/\n\nWHY: From rising seas to rising temperatures\, the climate crisis has hit San Diego County\, but on March 23rd we can hit back\, with your help! County Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer and Imperial Beach Mayor Paloma Aguirre are calling on our region’s power provider\, San Diego Community Power\, to adopt a binding legal commitment to provide 100% of our local energy from clean\, renewable sources by 2035.\n\nRight now\, 100% renewable by 2035 is a “goal” that SDCP says it will try to achieve\, if feasible. But we all know what happens to lofty goals when the going gets tough….
